GM-10-1 Antique Chest

This antique Italian chest is a fine example of craftsmanship, made from solid walnut and featuring intricate hand-carved details. The elegant faade is adorned with symmetrical panel carvings, characteristic of period Italian furniture. The chest is designed with a drop-down top drawer that reveals a writing surface, making it a versatile piece that functions as both a chest of drawers and a writing desk. The side columns are meticulously carved with acanthus leaf motifs and figural elements, adding to the richness of the design.
